No method of electronic transmission, storage, telephone communication, cloud computing, email, mobile communication, or Internet-based technology can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Although Roofing Appointments uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, Roofing Appointments cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse will never occur.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, Roofing Appointments may, as appropriate:
Delete the information;
Destroy records;
De-identify information;
Anonymize information;
Aggregate information; or
Otherwise dispose of information consistent with applicable law and reasonable business practices.
Deletion from an active system may not immediately remove information from backups, archives, fraud-prevention records, legal holds, accounting systems, or other systems where temporary or continued retention remains legally permitted or reasonably necessary.
52. CUSTOMER SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers receiving appointment information from Roofing Appointments are responsible for maintaining reasonable security over information within their own possession or control.
Customers should take reasonable measures to:
Protect account credentials;
Restrict system access;
Limit access to appointment information;
Protect downloaded call recordings;

53. PRIVACY RIGHTS GENERALLY
Depending upon where an individual resides, the nature of the information Roofing Appointments maintains, how that information is processed, and whether a particular privacy law applies to Roofing Appointments, an individual may have certain rights concerning personal information.
These rights may include the right to:
Confirm whether Roofing Appointments processes personal information about the individual;
Request access to certain personal information;
Request a copy of certain personal information;
Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
Request deletion of certain personal information;
Obtain information concerning categories of personal information collected;

Appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request where applicable; and
Exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy law.
Not every privacy right applies to every individual, transaction, or category of information.
54. PRIVACY RIGHTS DEPEND UPON APPLICABLE LAW
Privacy laws vary significantly between jurisdictions.
The availability of a particular privacy right may depend upon factors including:
The individual’s state of residence;
The type of personal information involved;
The relationship between the individual and Roofing Appointments;
Whether the information is processed in a personal or business context;
The purpose for which the information is processed;
Applicable statutory thresholds;
Applicable exemptions; and
Whether Roofing Appointments is subject to the particular law.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to reduce a privacy right that cannot legally be waived.
Likewise, describing a particular privacy right in this Policy does not mean that every listed right necessarily applies to Roofing Appointments or every individual in every jurisdiction.
55. HOW TO SUBMIT A PRIVACY REQUEST
Where applicable law provides an individual with a privacy right, the individual may submit a request to Roofing Appointments.
Privacy requests may be submitted by contacting:
Roofing Appointments LLC
Email: sales@roofingappointment.com
The request should clearly state that it is a Privacy Request and provide sufficient information for Roofing Appointments to understand and process the request.
The requester should identify, as applicable:
Full name;
Email address;
Telephone number;
State of residence;
Relationship with Roofing Appointments;
Property address, if relevant to the request;
Customer or company name, if applicable;
The privacy right being exercised;
The information involved; and
Sufficient details to identify relevant records.
Individuals should not send unnecessary sensitive information merely to submit a privacy request.
56. IDENTITY VERIFICATION
Before providing, correcting, deleting, or otherwise acting upon certain personal information, Roofing Appointments may need to verify the identity of the person making the request.
Verification is intended to reduce the risk that personal information will be disclosed, changed, or deleted at the request of an unauthorized person.
Depending upon the request, verification may involve confirming information already associated with the individual, such as:
Name;
Email address;
Telephone number;
Property address;
Customer relationship;
Appointment information;
Transaction information; or
Other information reasonably appropriate for verification.
Roofing Appointments will seek to avoid requesting unnecessary information for verification.
57. INABILITY TO VERIFY A REQUEST
If Roofing Appointments cannot reasonably verify the identity or authority of the person submitting a request, we may be unable to fulfill some or all of the request.
In that situation, Roofing Appointments may:
Request additional verification information;
Explain that additional verification is required;
Limit the response to information that can safely be provided;
Treat the request as a general inquiry where appropriate; or
Decline the request where applicable law permits or requires us to do so.
Verification requirements may vary depending upon the sensitivity of the requested information and the nature of the requested action.
58. RIGHT TO ACCESS OR KNOW
Where applicable law provides such a right, an eligible individual may request information concerning personal information Roofing Appointments maintains or processes about that individual.
Depending upon applicable law, a response may include information concerning:
Categories of personal information collected;
Categories of sources;
Business or commercial purposes for collection or processing;
Categories of third parties receiving information;
Specific pieces of personal information where required; and
Other information required by applicable law.
Certain information may be withheld, limited, or redacted where necessary to protect:
Another person’s privacy;
Security;
Confidential business information;
Trade secrets;
Fraud-prevention systems;
Privileged information;
Legal rights; or
Other interests protected by applicable law.
59. RIGHT TO REQUEST CORRECTION
Where applicable law provides a right to correction, an eligible individual may request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained by Roofing Appointments.
When evaluating a correction request, Roofing Appointments may consider:
The nature of the information;
The source of the information;
Documentation provided by the requester;
The purpose for which the information is maintained;
Information received from third-party sources; and
Other reasonably relevant circumstances.
Roofing Appointments may request supporting information when reasonably necessary to determine whether the information should be corrected.
A disagreement concerning an opinion, business judgment, appointment outcome, credit decision, or other evaluative determination does not necessarily mean that underlying personal information is inaccurate.
60. RIGHT TO REQUEST DELETION
Where applicable law provides a deletion right, an eligible individual may request deletion of certain personal information maintained by Roofing Appointments.
A deletion request does not necessarily require Roofing Appointments to delete every record relating to the individual.
Applicable law may permit or require Roofing Appointments to retain certain information.
61. EXCEPTIONS TO DELETION
Where permitted by applicable law, Roofing Appointments may retain information despite a deletion request when reasonably necessary to:
Complete a transaction;
Fulfill an existing appointment;
Provide Services requested by the individual or customer;
Perform an existing contract;
Maintain accounting records;
Maintain transaction records;

Exercise or defend legal claims;
Resolve disputes;
Respond to chargebacks;
Enforce agreements;
Protect legal rights;
Comply with court orders;

Comply with record-retention requirements;
Maintain information subject to a legal hold; or
Perform another function permitted by applicable law.
Where appropriate, information may be de-identified instead of completely deleted.
62. ACCESS TO CALL RECORDINGS
A request for access to personal information does not necessarily create an unrestricted right to receive every internal business record or every call recording maintained by Roofing Appointments.
Where applicable law grants an individual access to personal information contained within a recording, Roofing Appointments may respond in a manner permitted by that law.
Depending upon applicable requirements and the circumstances, Roofing Appointments may need to consider:
The identity of other persons on the recording;
Confidential information;
Proprietary business information;
Security concerns;
Legal privilege;
Applicable recording laws; and
Other legally protected information.
Where legally permitted, Roofing Appointments may provide information in an alternative form rather than providing an unrestricted copy of an entire recording.
63. OPT-OUT OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Individuals may request to stop receiving qualifying promotional communications from Roofing Appointments.
Depending upon the communication method, opt-out options may include:
Using an unsubscribe link in a marketing email;
Using an applicable text-message opt-out method;
Communicating a do-not-call request where applicable; or
Contacting Roofing Appointments directly.
An opt-out from promotional marketing does not necessarily prevent Roofing Appointments from sending communications that are:
Transactional;
Appointment-related;
Requested by the recipient;
Customer-service related;
Billing-related;
Security-related;
Legally required; or
Otherwise non-promotional and lawfully permitted.
64. SALE, SHARING & TARGETED ADVERTISING OPT-OUT RIGHTS
Some state privacy laws provide eligible residents with rights to opt out of certain activities defined by law as:
Sale of personal information;
Sharing of personal information;
Targeted advertising; or
Cross-context behavioral advertising.
These legal definitions may be broader than the ordinary meaning of selling information for money.
If Roofing Appointments engages in processing that is subject to one of these opt-out rights, and the applicable law requires Roofing Appointments to provide that right, Roofing Appointments will provide an appropriate method for exercising it.
Roofing Appointments will not use this Privacy Policy to waive a statutory opt-out right that applicable law requires us to provide.
65. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION RIGHTS
Certain privacy laws provide additional rights concerning information legally classified as sensitive personal information or sensitive data.
Where such a law applies, Roofing Appointments will process covered sensitive information in accordance with applicable requirements.
Roofing Appointments does not seek unnecessary sensitive personal information for ordinary appointment-generation activities.
Individuals should not provide unnecessary Social Security numbers, financial credentials, passwords, medical information, government identification information, or similar highly sensitive information.
66. AUTHORIZED AGENTS
Where applicable law permits an individual to designate an authorized agent to exercise privacy rights, Roofing Appointments may require reasonable evidence that the agent is authorized to act for the individual.
Depending upon applicable law, Roofing Appointments may:
Request written authorization;
Verify the agent’s identity;
Verify the individual’s identity;
Contact the individual directly to confirm authorization; or
Request other legally permitted documentation.
Roofing Appointments may deny an agent’s request if the required authorization cannot reasonably be verified, subject to applicable law.
67. REQUESTS ON BEHALF OF BUSINESSES OR OTHER PERSONS
An individual may not use a privacy request to obtain personal information belonging to another person merely because the requester is associated with the same property, company, household, or transaction.
Where a request concerns another person, Roofing Appointments may require evidence of lawful authority.
Examples may include:
Written authorization;
Power of attorney;
Legal guardianship;
Authorized business authority; or
Other documentation recognized by applicable law.
68. RESPONSE TIMES
Roofing Appointments will respond to qualifying privacy requests within the time required by applicable law.
Where legally permitted, additional time may be used when reasonably necessary due to the complexity or number of requests.
If an extension is used where applicable law requires notice, Roofing Appointments will provide the required notice.
69. FEES FOR PRIVACY REQUESTS
Roofing Appointments generally does not intend to charge a fee for an ordinary qualifying privacy request.
However, where applicable law permits a fee because a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or otherwise qualifies for a lawful fee, Roofing Appointments reserves the right to charge an appropriate fee or decline the request as permitted by law.
70. APPEAL RIGHTS
Certain state privacy laws provide eligible individuals with the right to appeal a decision Roofing Appointments makes concerning a privacy request.
Where an appeal right applies, instructions for submitting an appeal may be provided with the applicable decision.
Roofing Appointments will process qualifying appeals in accordance with the requirements and time periods established by applicable law.
71. NON-DISCRIMINATION
Roofing Appointments will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual because the individual exercised a privacy right provided by applicable law.
Where applicable, Roofing Appointments will not unlawfully:
Deny Services solely because a privacy right was exercised;
Charge an unlawful discriminatory price;
Provide an unlawfully discriminatory level of service; or
Retaliate against an individual for exercising an applicable statutory privacy right.
This provision does not prohibit differences that are reasonably related to the value of data or otherwise expressly permitted by applicable law.
72. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
To the extent California privacy law applies to Roofing Appointments and the information involved, eligible California residents may have rights concerning their personal information.
Depending upon applicable requirements, those rights may include:
The right to know;
The right to access;
The right to request deletion;
The right to request correction;
The right to opt out of qualifying sale or sharing;
The right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable; and
The right to non-discrimination for exercising applicable privacy rights.
The inclusion of this section does not represent that every California privacy requirement necessarily applies to Roofing Appointments.
Roofing Appointments will comply with applicable California privacy requirements to the extent legally required.
73. FLORIDA PRIVACY RIGHTS
Roofing Appointments is based in Florida and may process information relating to Florida residents and businesses.
Florida residents may have rights under applicable privacy, data-security, telemarketing, consumer-protection, breach-notification, and other laws.
Certain comprehensive Florida privacy requirements apply only when statutory definitions, thresholds, and other conditions are satisfied.
The inclusion of Florida-specific language in this Policy does not represent that Roofing Appointments meets every threshold for every Florida privacy statute.
Where an applicable Florida law provides an individual with a legally enforceable privacy right, Roofing Appointments will address that right as required by law.
74. OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Privacy laws continue to develop throughout the United States.
Residents of states other than Florida or California may have additional privacy rights depending upon:
Their state of residence;
The information involved;
How the information is processed;
The purpose of the processing;
Applicable statutory thresholds; and
Available exemptions.
Where another applicable U.S. state privacy law grants an individual rights that apply to Roofing Appointments, Roofing Appointments will process qualifying requests in accordance with that law.
75. DO NOT TRACK & BROWSER-BASED PRIVACY SIGNALS
Internet browsers and devices may provide privacy settings or signals concerning tracking or certain data-processing activities.
The legal requirements applicable to browser-based preference signals vary by jurisdiction and technology.
Where Roofing Appointments is legally required to recognize a qualifying browser-based or universal opt-out preference signal, Roofing Appointments will handle that signal in accordance with applicable law and the technical capabilities of the relevant systems.
A general browser “Do Not Track” signal is not necessarily the same as a legally recognized universal opt-out mechanism.
76. REQUESTS INVOLVING THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION
Some Roofing Appointments records may contain information relating to more than one person or information received from independent third-party sources.
When responding to a privacy request, Roofing Appointments may take reasonable measures to protect:
The privacy of other individuals;
Confidential information;
Proprietary information;
Trade secrets;
Security information;
Fraud-prevention methods;
Legally privileged material; and
Other information protected by law.
Information may therefore be redacted, limited, or withheld where legally appropriate.

Such records may include:
Date of request;
Type of request;
Verification status;
Response provided;
Date of response;
Appeal information where applicable; and
Other information reasonably necessary to demonstrate handling of the request.
Maintaining a record that a privacy request was completed does not necessarily violate a deletion request when retention of that limited record is permitted or required by applicable law.

83. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

A link to another website does not mean Roofing Appointments controls that website or its privacy practices.
Third-party websites may independently collect information under their own:

Security practices; and
Data-retention practices.
Individuals should review the applicable privacy notice before providing personal information to an independent third party.

95. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
RoofingAppointment.com may be accessible from locations outside the United States even though Roofing Appointments primarily operates within the United States.
An individual’s ability to access the website from another country does not necessarily mean Roofing Appointments offers Services in that country or intentionally targets individuals located there.
If Roofing Appointments becomes subject to an applicable international privacy requirement concerning particular processing, Roofing Appointments will address that requirement as legally necessary.
96. NO UNNECESSARY COLLECTION OF HIGHLY SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Roofing Appointments does not need highly sensitive personal information for most ordinary appointment-generation activities.

The method and timing of notice will depend upon applicable law and the nature of the change.
106. RELATIONSHIP TO TERMS OF SERVICE
This Privacy Policy should be read together with Roofing Appointments’ applicable Terms of Service and any other agreement governing the applicable Services.
The Privacy Policy primarily describes how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, protected, and retained.
The Terms of Service and applicable customer agreements may separately govern matters such as:
Purchase of Services;
Campaign requirements;
Appointment delivery;
Customer responsibilities;
Payments;
Credits;
Replacement appointments;
Intellectual property;
Confidentiality;
Dispute resolution;
Limitations of liability; and
Other contractual matters.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to independently create a contractual guarantee concerning the performance or outcome of an appointment campaign.
107. RELATIONSHIP TO CUSTOMER AGREEMENTS
Customers may enter into separate agreements, campaign documents, order forms, invoices, data forms, or other written arrangements with Roofing Appointments.
Those documents may contain additional requirements concerning information, confidentiality, recordings, campaign administration, or customer responsibilities.
Where a customer agreement contains specific requirements concerning information provided as part of a campaign, those requirements may apply in addition to this Privacy Policy.
Nothing in a customer agreement or this Privacy Policy is intended to eliminate a privacy right or legal obligation that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
108. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED INFORMATION
When a customer provides Roofing Appointments with personal information for use in a campaign, the customer is responsible for having appropriate authority to provide that information and instruct Roofing Appointments to use it for the intended purpose.
Customers should not provide information to Roofing Appointments if they do not have a lawful basis or other legally sufficient authority to do so.
Roofing Appointments may rely upon information and instructions provided by customers unless Roofing Appointments knows or reasonably determines that further action is required by applicable law.
109. INFORMATION PROCESSED ON BEHALF OF CUSTOMERS
In some circumstances, Roofing Appointments may process information in connection with Services requested by a business customer.
The respective privacy responsibilities of Roofing Appointments and the customer may depend upon:
The information involved;
The source of the information;
The purposes of processing;
Who determines those purposes;
The applicable Service;
Contractual arrangements; and
Applicable privacy law.
Roofing Appointments may therefore act in different legal capacities depending upon the particular processing activity.
Nothing in this Policy should be interpreted as assigning a single legal classification to Roofing Appointments for every category of personal information or every processing activity.
110. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR INDEPENDENT PROCESSING
After a customer receives appointment information, that customer may independently process the information for its own business purposes.
Roofing Appointments does not control every action taken by an independent customer after information has been lawfully delivered.
Customers are responsible for evaluating and complying with laws applicable to their own:
Sales activities;
Inspections;
Estimates;
Follow-up communications;
Marketing;
Telephone calls;
Text messages;
Emails;
Record retention;
Information security;
Customer relationships; and
Other independent business activities.
111. THIRD-PARTY PRIVACY PRACTICES
Roofing Appointments is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties that Roofing Appointments does not own or control.
This may include independent:
Roofing contractors;
Customers;
Payment providers;
Financial institutions;
Social-media platforms;

Other third parties.
When an individual provides information directly to an independent third party, that third party’s privacy policy and legal obligations may govern its processing of the information.
112. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW
Roofing Appointments intends to process personal information in accordance with privacy and data-protection laws applicable to its operations.
Because legal requirements differ by jurisdiction, the specific requirements applicable to particular information may depend upon:
Where the individual resides;
Where the processing occurs;
The nature of the information;
The type of communication;
The purpose of processing;
The relationship between the parties; and
Applicable statutory thresholds and exemptions.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy should be interpreted to require conduct prohibited by applicable law.
113. REQUIRED DISCLOSURES

Where legally appropriate, Roofing Appointments may evaluate the validity and scope of a request before disclosing information.
114. PRESERVATION OF RECORDS

Examples may include information subject to:
Pending litigation;
Anticipated litigation;
Legal holds;
Subpoenas;
Government investigations;
Regulatory inquiries;
Payment disputes;
Chargebacks;
Fraud investigations;

Other lawful record-preservation obligations.
Once the reason for preservation no longer applies, information may be handled according to Roofing Appointments’ normal retention practices and applicable law.
115. FRAUDULENT PRIVACY REQUESTS
Privacy rights are intended to protect individuals and should not be used to obtain unauthorized access to another person’s information.
Roofing Appointments may take reasonable steps to identify and prevent:
Impersonation;
Identity theft;
Fraudulent access requests;
Falsified authorization documents;
Unauthorized agent requests;
Attempts to obtain another person’s information;
Manipulation of privacy-request procedures; and
Other abusive or unlawful activity.
Roofing Appointments may deny or limit a request where permitted by law if the request cannot reasonably be authenticated or appears fraudulent.
116. EXCESSIVE OR REPETITIVE REQUESTS
Where permitted by applicable law, Roofing Appointments may decline, limit, or charge a legally permissible fee for requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or abusive.
Any such determination will be made in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Nothing in this provision is intended to discourage an individual from legitimately exercising a privacy right.
117. NO RETALIATION FOR EXERCISING PRIVACY RIGHTS
Roofing Appointments will not unlawfully retaliate against an individual for legitimately exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.
The exercise of a privacy right does not excuse a person from:
Existing contractual obligations;
Amounts legitimately owed;
Lawful recordkeeping requirements;
Fraud investigations;
Security procedures; or
Other independent legal obligations.
Privacy rights and contractual obligations will be addressed according to their respective applicable legal requirements.
118. NO WAIVER OF NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to waive, restrict, or eliminate any right or protection that applicable law does not permit an individual to waive.
If a provision of this Privacy Policy conflicts with a mandatory privacy requirement applicable to a particular individual or processing activity, the mandatory legal requirement will control to the extent of that conflict.
119. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is determined by a court or other authority with appropriate jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that determination will not necessarily affect the remaining provisions.
To the extent legally permissible, the affected provision should be interpreted or limited in a manner that most closely reflects its lawful purpose while preserving the remainder of the Privacy Policy.
120. NO THIRD-PARTY BENEFICIARY RIGHTS
Except where applicable law expressly provides otherwise, this Privacy Policy is intended to describe Roofing Appointments’ privacy practices and is not intended to create contractual rights for unrelated third parties.
Nothing in this provision limits rights independently granted to an individual under applicable privacy or consumer-protection law.
121. PRIVACY QUESTIONS
Individuals with questions concerning this Privacy Policy or Roofing Appointments’ privacy practices may contact Roofing Appointments.
When contacting Roofing Appointments regarding a privacy matter, individuals should provide enough information for the company to understand the nature of the inquiry without unnecessarily providing highly sensitive personal information.

Where Roofing Appointments is legally required to recognize a qualifying opt-out preference signal, Roofing Appointments will process that signal as required by applicable law for the browser or device from which the signal is received.
A browser’s general “Do Not Track” setting is not necessarily equivalent to a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.
140. SALE, SHARING & TARGETED ADVERTISING
Some privacy laws define terms such as “sale,” “sharing,” and “targeted advertising” broadly and may include certain disclosures involving advertising technologies even where no money is exchanged for an individual’s personal information.
